Security Funding

On November 1, Shaare Emeth was advised by Scott Biondo, Director of Community Security at Jewish Federation, and local law enforcement to elevate our security protocols. Based on new information and assessments from national security leadership that Scott received, there is a consensus that the potential for threats to Jewish institutions has increased. 

At this time, Shaare Emeth will:
  • Continue staffing security personnel during worship services, large events, and funerals open to the general public;
  • Maintain all security measures and systems, including locked doors, that are currently in place;
  • NEW: Schedule additional security personnel to be on-site during Religious School and preschool hours to the best of our ability; this is an added expense of $3,420 per week;
  • Increase monitoring, auditing, and review of protocols to assess current and changing security needs.
Any amount you're compelled to give helps ensure we are able to provide the highest standard of security measures for as long as they are needed.
