Congregation Shaare Emeth invites families with children 5 and under for an evening of hands-on art and Jewish learning with visiting artists/scholars Isaac and Rabbi Shawna Brynjegard-Bialik. We'll prepare for the upcoming holiday of Simchat Torah by creating a "fingerprint mosaic" community art piece depicting the story of creation, the very beginning of the Torah. We'll also have a beautiful musical Havdalah service, the ritual we do to end Shabbat on Saturday evening, plus other surprises.
