The Banned Book Club

Join Shaare Emeth member, Professor Michael Sherberg, as he leads three sessions devoted to the discussion of important books that have been banned by some school districts in Missouri and across the country. Dr. Sherberg led a similar class for Washington University undergraduates this past fall. Along with discussing the books, we will share strategies for talking about the issue of banned books with young people in our lives. Join us for one or all of these summer sessions. Books can be paid for and picked up at Temple. We have ordered copies through The Novel Neighbor, one of St. Louis’ great independent bookstores.
